Every thing we see around us is matter . People , mountains , earth , planets , Stars , galaxies, infact the whole universe we see is made up of matter . But we know every coin has two sides , Our matter has also a another brother which is known as antimatter . So lets begin what antimatter is ? FORMATION To know how this antimatter formed , lets clock around 13.8 billion years ago , where a violent explosion took place leading to the formation of tremendous amount of energy , this energy was converted in to early generation of matter which is known as quarks. But there is a twist, That explosion also created antimatter , this antimatter is same as matter but its particles have opposite charge that of matter. a proton have charge of +1 and a antiproton have a charge of -1 , similarly a anti electron has a charge of +1 .
